Volkswagen & Skoda MIB PQ Touchscreen Repair
AA Auto Parts provides touchscreen replacement and repair for compatible MIB PQ head units. This is a repair service for your existing unit.
Common touchscreen problems
- Half or part of the screen does not respond to touch.
- The entire screen is unresponsive to touch.
- Adhesive is leaking from the screen assembly.
In our repair experience, severe adhesive leakage can damage the casing and may affect the main board or display board. If you notice leakage, contact us for an assessment. The repair required depends on the condition of your unit.
Repair price: AUD $330
The price includes touchscreen glass digitizer replacement (AAP-CMT-TSD-VWPQMIB), screen installation and related screen repair work, and postage of the repaired unit back to you. The repair includes a 6-month warranty.
For this repair service, postage of the repaired unit back to you is included in the AUD $330 price.
Sending your unit or arranging removal and refitting
Remove the head unit from your vehicle and deliver or post it to us for repair. Providing the removed unit avoids an additional vehicle removal and refitting charge.
If you need us to remove the head unit and refit it after repair, an additional fee of approximately AUD $60 applies. Please contact us in advance to arrange an appointment and confirm the cost.
