Suit the following cars: Mazda with i-Stop Start/Stop Function
[Door flash] Set to OFF or ON:
1. Start the engine and close all doors.
2. Open the left front door, and within 5 seconds have another friend open and close the right front door three times (three round trips).
3. Close the doors, open any door, and check whether it is set.
Note: Step 2 must be completed within 5 seconds. One person cannot complete this within 5 seconds; you need an extra friend to help.
[Reverse flash] Set to OFF or ON:
1. Start the engine and close all doors.
2. Open the left front door, and within 5 seconds shift the gear between P and R three times (P-R-P-R-P-R-P).
3. Close the doors, shift to R, and check whether it is set.
Note: Step 2 must be completed within 5 seconds. You can hold the gear lever with your right hand; as soon as you open the door with your left hand, immediately use your right hand to switch three times and return to P.
[Emergency brake flash] Set to OFF or ON:
1. Start the engine and close all doors.
2. Open the left front door, and within 5 seconds stomp the brake pedal three times.
Note: Whether the setting succeeded must be confirmed later during actual driving.
